I’ve been here many times and always had a great experience. The food is great and the regular staff are friendly. Unfortunately, my visit on this weekend was uncomfortable. I overheard that some people there were from head office, and they constantly interrupted conversations between customers and employees, pushed recommendations unnecessarily, and barely gave us time to choose. The way they spoke to the staff was also extremely rude and disrespectful. Hopefully this is addressed, because the regular employees deserve much better. I still really like the restaurant and the food but this definitely changed my experience.

I was served my iced coffee in a small plastic cup and it had about 10mls of coffee the rest milk/cream. Not worth the $5 even despite being a special… save your money and go to Tim Hortons 🙂
I was shocked considering the photo shows the iced coffee comes in a decent size glass cup… not the case for the Barrie location.
Despite this the coffee tasted not terrible, the lady at the cash was very nice and atmosphere was clean.

The location is beautifully decorated, and I truly enjoyed the atmosphere. I was greeted with a warm smile, and the Nutella waffles I tried were excellent. I look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely loved the food at Holy Shake! Everything was delicious, and the shakes were amazing. I’d also like to give a special shout-out to Sukham—his service was excellent, very friendly, and genuinely outstanding. He made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Server was lovely, great atmosphere. Music isn't too loud so you can hold a conversation easily.

Very cute restaurant. Heard about the shakes and didn’t know they did food! We got the naan tacos and the butter chicken feast and it was SO GOOD. Staff was kind and quick with service. We will be back!

We ordered Loaded Fried with Butter chicken and Strawberry Samba Shake and it was one of the best food we had in Barrie. The serving was good for two.

Visited Holly Shakes Barrie today and tried the Kathi Roll. It was really delicious and full of flavour! The food tasted fresh and was nicely prepared. The place has a great vibe and the staff were friendly as well. Really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back to try more items. Highly recommend this place in Barrie!

Holy Shakes is easily a 10/10 — honestly, more like a 1000/10!
I absolutely loved everything about this place. The space is beautiful, very well designed, and has such a great vibe. The food was delicious, flavourful, and perfectly prepared.
The service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and impressively fast. There’s truly nothing negative to say. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back! 💕

Holy Shakes is one of those places that immediately brings out your inner child. As soon as you walk in, it’s clean, bright, and cheerful, with neon signs on the walls and lots of fun little Instagram-worthy moments throughout the shop. The vibe is playful and welcoming, and the menu is packed with desserts that *look* amazing.
I ordered a double scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone, which came to $8.99. While it tasted good, I was a bit disappointed with the portion size. The scoops were only about the size of a plum, and for that price, I was expecting something more generous—especially compared to places like Kawartha Dairy, where the scoops are huge and definitely feel worth it.
The menu also includes hot food, and from what I saw, the pricing for those items looks fairly reasonable, although I didn’t get a chance to see the portion sizes. The space itself is really fun, with cozy seating areas and even a foosball table, which adds to the overall experience.
I’d definitely give Holy Shakes another visit to try the hot food, but I’d likely skip the dessert next time unless the portions improve. Overall, it’s a fun spot with a great atmosphere, just keep expectations in check when it comes to ice cream value.

A cute and fun place, open till midnight on weekends!! It wasn’t too crowded when we were there. Lovely decor and wall murals made me smile, diversity at its best! 💕
Nikita Helpped us at the counter, she was patiently awaited while we placed our orders. We ordered, beef burger, 2 jerk chicken and fries with Dubai shakes! The chicken burgers are flavoured uniquely and it was good. Sadly only one beef Item compared to quite a few chicken meals but no complaints there. Dubai chocolate shake was something we looked forward to try and it was delicious 😋. It’s a not your typical fast food but better, positive vibes! Our kiddo enjoyed playing the foosball game and we enjoyed our time there! We will definitely visit again!

In one word, just awesome. Noticed this place when browsing for Halal place in Barrie. Wented to try it out. We ordered a kid burger, a beef burger and a wings and fries. They came with the most wonderful milk shake. As some of the foods were for kids, we altered somethings. The person taking our order was so patient with us, described all the options and took her time to make sure everything was what we wanted. I will definitely recommend this place and will be back soon to try some of the other stuff.

I love this spot! It is right around the corner from my house. Nikita from Holy Shakes made our time so memorable. She made an amazing cotton candy shake for my son! I didn't get time to take pictures of the hot honey sandwich and loaded butter chicken Mac and cheese because we ate it so fast.. great food and great vibes !! ❤️

Genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever tasted! They have all kinds of shakes in every flavour you can imagine, but the food alone makes it worth coming back. The service was also amazing. Someone took the time to ask us if it was our first time there and was willing to explain the menu to us - so appreciated!

Blueberry Cheesecake Shake and Masala Fries are my favourite from this place. Shake and Fries are exactly I want them to be. Love to come here for shakes. Nice and cozy place. Will be coming here for more options.

First time trying their milkshake and I have to say it was absolutely out of thus world.
I got The Godfather, chocolate milkshake with cappuccino, oreo and whipped cream on the rim if the bottle. If your a coffee crisp lover then this milkshake is for you, if you like a nice coffee milkshake this o e is for you. And it comes in a milk bottle, i felt like i was in a soda shop lol. But the vibes totally not what you would expect at a milkshake/waffle/food restaurant. You can have a milkshake, waffle made fresh i front of you, or maybe a burgers, poutin, or tacos they even have a bubble tea milkshake.
The decor is fresh and chill place, where you can hang with your friends, options of tables with chairs, or some comfy couches. And while you wait for your order, you can have a friendly competition of foosball. Thought that was a cute touch.
And for tge cheesecakes factory lovers, they sell those there to. All in all the fact that its at the Wellington Plaza, its a very neat place to try out. Next tine I'm going for the waffles.

Ordered thru Uber. Milkshakes just had the right amount of sweetness to it and I like it. My child ordered the cotton candy milkshake but you can barely taste the cotton candy flavor. Overall it was great. We want to try the other milkshakes next time. Prices $$-$$$

I had a wonderful experience at this store! The food was delicious, especially the Mac&cheese, and our server was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was also very enjoyable. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. A new favourite spot!

Looks are deceiving. I thought this would be a regular fast food joint but I was pleasantly surprised. The workers greeted us when we walked in and kept checking in on us like a normal restaurant, I was very impressed by this service. And the added bonus is that the food was actually delicious. Usually for a place that seems to have more dessert type foods, the food is normally gross or subpar but this was amazing. My family ordered burgers, wings and other items not pictures. Will come again.

My experience was nothing short of AMAZING!
We were enthusiastically greeted by the owner who quickly offered guidance reviewing the extensive menu and provided curated suggestions based off our preferences. All employees were friendly, polite, and EXCELLED in customer service.
As we stepped foot in the establishment, the vibe was mood boosting! Featuring a foosball table, neon signs, and ample comfortable seating. The attention to cleanliness and presentation was evident in all aspects of the visit.
The ordered items were swiftly crafted and arrived at our table, PERFECTLY resembling the pictures on the menu.
Overall, the passion, quality and service was outstanding; we can’t wait to visit again soon!
