Waterloo is known internationally for its two Universities: Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo. In this lively University Town, T.O.’s Kathi Roll Eatery is a hip and colourful counter for globally-influenced Indian street food, especially inventive wraps.
I've tried their rolls and burgers and they are absolutely delicious. Great to have found this place that serves your cravings for Indian flavorful delicacies (street food varieties). A "must visit" in KWC!!
Loved the food and vibes here. I ordered:1. Piri Piri Chicken Wings with Fries: the wings are yummmm! The taste is great and the fries just hit the spot.2. The crunch munch burger with fries: it was so good it finished in a matter of minutes. All of the toppings came together to give a super yum flavour. The fries again were just 10/10.3. Mac N Cheese with Butter chicken: it was good but i personally enjoy the 2 things separate, my husband on the other hand devoured it.Overall experience was great, the employees are super nice too. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
Tried first time Spicy Vegetarian Paneer tikka Kathi Roll & KitKat Milkshake from here. Roll was awesome in taste but the quantity of paneer was bit extra compare to veggies inside the roll & milkshake reminded me what I used to drink in India 😍. Must try
Creative takes on Indian street food fused with western fast food. TO's gets full marks for creativity. I got the Tika Chicken Kathi roll. The Hickenlooper was flavourful and spicy but a bit dry. The pickled veg was wonderful and the spice (I ordered it hot) had kick but didn't burn my tongue off. The Kathi seemed snack sized but wouldn't make a meal alone so 10 dollars felt a bit high priced.Ordering at 3pm with little line it took about 10 minutes for my single Kathi to be made. The store is small so be prepared to wait outside. The store is shared with Holy Shakes but I didn't get a chance to sample those and will do a separate review..
